To use buckle style: place belt around waist, put end of belt through metal buckle, tighten to desired compression and use the double prong metal buckle to secure.
To use lever style: 1st adjust lever anchor position on belt to fit your waist, 2nd place belt around waist, put the double lever ends through belts holes, then pull lever to the closed position.
